RIDE INFORMATION
Now in its 20th year, the Tour de Poway Fun Bike Ride is the premier inland north San Diego County cycling event, drawing over 2,000 participants from all over Southern California. The 100, 62 and 50 mile courses climb the famous Poway grade. (8% for 3 miles) The Poway grade will be closed to motor vehicle traffic from 7am to 9am. The 25 mile course provides both a fun and enjoyable experience for the weekend cyclists. The 15 mile course is known as the Poway loop is designed for families to enjoy. All courses begin and end at Old Poway Park.
REGISTRATION
Register online at Active.com or print the pdf version of the registration form and mail or fax. A signed waiver and entry fee is required for every participant. The fee is $40 for the 100 mile(century), $30 for the 62,50 and 25 mile course and $20 for the 15 mile course. Entry fee includes a commemorative 20th Anniversary Patch, aid stations including lunch on the 100 mile course(must show ride bib for lunch), ride support, and a route sheet. You can also register day of the event. An extra $10 fee will be charged for registration after September 23rd. Day of registration begins at 6:30 am.

COURSES
100 Mile (Century)-start 7:00 am. Over 4,000 feet of climbing, great downhills on Highland Valley Road and Bandy Canyon.
West towards the coast back through Rancho Sante Fe down El Camino Real and the SR56 bike path. Five aid stations including
lunch provided by the North County Cycle Club. East bound lane of the Poway Grade will be closed to vehicle traffic from
7:00am-9:00am. Wrist bands will be required for cyclists to ride the grade.

62 Mile (Metric Century)- start 7:30 am. Begins the same as the 100 mile century-3,000 feet of climbing. Three aid stations. East bound lane of the Poway Grade will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7:00am-9:00am. Wrist bands will be required for cyclists to ride the grade.
50 Mile- start 8:00 am. Begins same as the 62 mile course into Ramona down Highland Valley Road, meets up with 62 mile course in Rancho Bernardo. Over 2,000 ft of climbing and two aid stations. Wrist bands will be required for cyclists to ride the grade.
25 Mile- start 9:30 am. North Poway into Rancho Bernardo. Over 1,000 feet of climbing. One aid station.
15 Mile- start 10:00 am. Pomerado Rd to Espola back to finish, known as the Poway loop, this course circles Poway and is relatively flat less then 500 feet of climbing. This is not off road, but in bike lanes.
BARBEQUE
After the ride, enjoy a delicious Barbeque lunch in charming Old Poway Park. Barbeque includes chicken, salad, beans, a drink and a cookie. All for only $10. Barbeque will be served from 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM
START AND FINISH LOCATION
All rides start and finish at Old Poway Park, in the city of Poway. Poway is 30 miles northeast of San Diego, 6 miles south of Escondido and 30 east of Oceanside. DIRECTIONS: From I-5 go towards Oceanside, then Highway 78 to Escondido, south on I-15 to Poway Road. Take Poway Road east 4 miles to Midland Road, then north 1 mile to Old Poway Park.
